• <28 and >35 weeks of gestation
•Conditions that could interfere with TCB measurements such as
Congenital malformations
Hydrops fetalis

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Correlation between transcutaneous bilirubin and total serum bilirubin levels in preterm infants before, during and/or after phototherapyTimepoint: From the time preterm with clinical jaundice, elevated serum or Trans-cutaneous bilirubin levels noted, warranting phototherapy till stopping phototherapy and rechecking for rebound bilirubin levels. Assessment done at the end of the study sample collection 1 year 7 months.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Corelation of TSB and TCB among different gestational ages and Corelation with the sites used for TCBTimepoint: From the time preterm with clinical jaundice, elevated serum or Trans-cutaneous bilirubin levels noted, warranting phototherapy till stopping phototherapy and rechecking for rebound bilirubin levels. Assessment done at the end of study sample collection 1 year 7 months
