Inclusion Criteria
1. Term and near term new born i.e. >= 35 weeks of gestational age.
2. Minimum birth weight 2000 gm.
3. Jaundiced newborns requiring phototherapy according to the AAP parameters
Exclusion Criteria
1. Premature newborn (gestational age Ë? 35 weeks)
2. Low birth weight
3. Hemolytic jaundice
