Inclusion Criteria
The study includes all patients undergoing elective unilateral PCNL surgery, aged
between 18 - 65 years with BMI 25 - 35 kg/m2 and agreed to participate in research.
Exclusion Criteria
The study excludes those patients who have failed to comprehend visual analogue scale, have contraindications to interventional procedure (ESP block), history of local
anaesthetic allergy, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological or metabolic diseases,
severe coagulopathy, history of chronic analgesic use, failure of procedures (ESP
block), serum creatinine more than 2mg/dl, patients on dialysis or in sepsis and
patients having pre-existing nephrostomy tube.
