Inclusion Criteria
Fourty patients of ASA I and II class, age between 18 and 65 years and in complete GCS with injury to lumbar spine and listed for open lumbar decompression surgery at multiple levels
Exclusion Criteria
Patients of ASA III and IV class, polytrauma, those with coagulopathy or with any other co-morbidity
