Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. ASA class 1 (a normal healthy patient fit, non\-obese,
- •non\-smoking)
- •2\. Permanent mandibular molars of both right
- •and left quadrant.
- •3\. Teeth with clinical diagnosis of
- •symptomatic irreversible pulpitis.
- •4\. Patients who had not taken
- •any analgesics at least a day before the root canal procedure.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Any teeth with diagnosis of pulpal necrosis
- •2\. Teeth which are diagnosed with periodontal problems
- •3\. Teeth which were previously treated with root canal procedure
- •4\. Patients who cannot tolerate or who are allergic to ibuprofen and etoricoxib
- •5\. Patients with pre\-existing systemic conditions.
