Surgery at the University Hospital Freiburg (Deparment for General and Visceral surgery, Gynecology or Urology), postoperative stay on the normal ward between the first and fifth postoperative night or, if discharged, before the fifth postoperative night until discharge, all types of surgery and pre-existing illnesses, both genders and any age over 18 years
First surgery performed at another hospital, no surgery performed, sleep disorder known (ICD-10-GM-2020 G47.x or F51.x), long-term therapy with valerian or other herbal medication as well as with a conventional sleeping medication such as zolpidem, zopiclone, midazolam or lorazepam, doubled case (Patient treated several times as an inpatient, each patient may only be evaluated once), stay in intensive care unit, interruption of stay in normal ward by transfer to intensive care unit, transfer to another ward / to another hospital
