Inclusion Criteria

• Pregnant women aged >= 18 years;
• Before 37 weeks of gestational age;
• Diagnosed with mild to moderate gestational hypertension

Exclusion Criteria

• Women who have already been diagnosed with severe gestational hypertension
and/or preeclampsia and/or eclampsia
• Women with chronic hypertension who are already on antihypertensive drugs.
• Women with pre-existent renal disease
• Women who do not understand the Dutch language
• Women who have already participated in this study cannot be included a second
time.
• Women with a (relative) contra-indication for the possible prescribed
medications
• Women who intend to terminate the pregnancy
• Women who have a fetus with a major anomaly or chromosomal abnormality
