Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\- Stable cardiovascular status.
  • 2\- Age \> 18 years.
  • 3\- Tidal volume \>5 cc/kg on a spontaneous mode.
  • 4\- Heart rate \<120 and \>60 beats per minute.
  • 5\- Respiratory rate \<30 and \>6 breaths per minute.
  • 6\- Systolic blood pressure 90\-160mm of Hg.
  • 7\- Adequate oxygenation \>92% on Fio2 \<0\.4
  • 8\- Positive end expiratory pressure\- less than or equal to 5cms of H2O.
  • 9\- Glasgow coma scale \>10 only for subjects with Endotracheal tube.
  • 10\- No substantial respiratory acidosis PH \>7\.30\.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\- Delirium.
  • 2\- Cognitive dysfunction.
  • 3\- Visual and hearing deficit.
  • 4\- Spinal and thoracic deformities.
  • 5\- Refusal to participate/Un\-cooperative individuals.
  • 6\- Haemodynamic instability.
