Both freshly detected and previously diagnosed cases of NAFLD.
USG findings are suggestive of NAFLD Grade I, II &III.
aged below 25 years and above 60 years, Pregnant women.Uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension, Complications of Metabolic syndrome-like Cerebrovascular accident, Myocardial Infarction, Chronic Kidney disease.
Ayogya for Virechana karma in group A.
Patients consume hepatotoxic medicines, alcohol, or other narcotic substances. Cirrhosis, Ascites, variceal hemorrhage, coagulopathy, hepatorenal syndrome.
History of viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver diseases (Primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, autoimmune hepatitis), metabolic disorders (Wilson’s disease, hemochromatosis), HIV, TB other infectious diseases, malignancies, Major psychiatric problems.

Name Time Method Samyaka Virikta Lakshana is to be assessed. <br/ ><br>Stool color, Stool odor, pH of stool after Virechana Karma. <br/ ><br>BMI - Before and after treatment. <br/ ><br>Changes in signs and symptoms of NAFLD. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Patients will be assessed after 15 days (After completion of Virechana Karma).

Name Time Method Changes in signs and symptoms of NAFLD. <br/ ><br>USG of Abdomen-changes of fatty liver and/or cholestasis. <br/ ><br>Changes in Hepatic profile (SGOT, SGPT, Direct, Indirect & Total Bilirubin & Serum <br/ ><br>alkaline phosphatase) <br/ ><br>Changes in Lipid profile. <br/ ><br>Changes in Total Serum Bile Acids.Timepoint: Patients will be assessed before treatment, after 15 days <br/ ><br>and after 30 days of Shamana.
