Inclusion Criteria
Study participants will be elite male Australian Rules Football players from the Gold Coast Suns Football Club. Players aged between 18-30 years, with 0-3 years of experience in the AFL will be approached to participate in this study.
Exclusion Criteria
Players with more than 3 years experience in the AFL.
Players outside of the GC Suns.
Players who are not training and/or eating with team.
Females.

Name Time Method Carbohydrate intake in g/kg/day calculated via food diary and dietitian interview and analysed using FoodWorks.[Assessed daily for 8 day study period (2x4 day blocks over two training weeks)];Carbohydrate intake compared to recommendations; calculated via food diary and dietitian interview and analysed using FoodWorks.
