Inclusion Criteria

1: Healthy individuals (45 years to 55 years) who are not diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, infection, hypertension, thyroid abnormalities, autoimmune disorders, and any other metabolic disorder.

2: Newly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (45 years to 55 years) put on standard care only on metformin.

(i) We will consider T2D individuals who are advised with 500mg metformin once a day.

Exclusion Criteria

1: Healthy individuals who are diagnosed with thyroid abnormalities, infections, and blood pressure.

2: T2D Subjects who are diagnosed with long-term infections, thyroid abnormalities, autoimmune disorders, blood pressure, any other metabolic disorder, and other anti-diabetic drugs.

The following parameters will be assessed at baseline and after 3 months of intervention. <br/ ><br>A) Metabolic changes in Plasma. <br/ ><br>B) Innate Immune cell functions (Neutrophil extracellular traps, Cell-free DNA, Neutrophil Elastase). <br/ ><br>C) Adaptive immune cell function (Quantitative estimations of T-Cells and B-Cells subsets).Timepoint: Baseline and 3 Months.
