Inclusion Criteria

Study subjects will be recruited based on Body Mass Index (BMI). [Obese if their BMI is 25.0Kg/m2 or above]. All male and female individuals who fulfils the age sex and ethnicity will be included. The participants in both groups will be matched according to their age, sex, food habit and ethnicity.

Exclusion Criteria

Subjects/Participants with pregnancy, lactating, cardiovascular disease, liver and kidney function impairment, HCV, HIV, HBsAg seropositive status, patients with known gastro-intestinal bleeding, psychologically ill, and under 18 years of age will be excluded from study.

Primary Outcome Measures

Outcome of the research is expected to provide critical scientific evidence to the benefits of the practice of yoga. This will validate the yogic practices adopted and make them more acceptable. The findings obtained through this study would suggest how effectively the yoga can be used as an effective life-style modality to improve the overall health as well as to reduce the use of medication.Timepoint: The outcome will be assessed/estimated at baseline, and after 30 days of yoga intervention.
