Name Time Method 1.Initial Caries using ICDAS II scoring criteria. ICDAS II systems have two-digit coding for detection criteria of primary coronal caries. The first one is related to the restoration of teeth and has coding that ranges from 0 to 9. The second digit ranges from 0 to 6 which is used for coding caries.

2.DMFS/defs for progression of the disease, restoration and missing teeth. The DMFS/defs is a discrete quantitative variable ranging from 0-128 for permanent teeth. The mean DMFS/defs is a continuous quantitative variable of an individual.

3.Qualitative data will be recorded using dichotomous values as absent or present for incipient caries.

Timepoint: baseline

3month

6months

12month
