Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients presenting with coronary
artery disease.
2. Age above 18 years.
3. Patients of both gender
Exclusion Criteria
1. Documented pre-existent thyroid disease on treatment.
2. Patients using corticosteroids, amiodarone.
3. Patients who have received any iodinated contrast agent within previous two weeks.
4. Patients with established diseases, such as neoplasias, chronic renal failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease requiring antibiotic therapy, liver cirrhosis, active infection and decompensated diabetes mellitus.
5. Age less than 18 years.
