1. Patients in mixed dentition stage, 2. Dental anterior crossbite (at least one permanent maxillary incisor) or functional shift, 3. Absence of skeletal Class III pattern (ANB angle > 1.2), if a functional shift is present, the ANB angle will be measured in the CR position., 4. Mild or moderate crowding in the maxillary arch (up to 4 mm), 5. Anterior crossbite exceeds 1/3 of clinical crown height., 6. No posterior crossbite, 7. Non-extraction treatment plan, 8. No history of prior orthodontic treatment
1. Patients with craniofacial syndromes and malformations, including cleft lips and palates., 2. Mentally impaired children or children with disabilities to understand the questionnaire., 3. Lack of willingness from parents and patients to participate in the study.
