Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age above 65 years who are undergoing cardiac surgery
- •LVEF \> 50%
Exclusion Criteria
- •Contraindications to intrathecal analgesia like allergy, patient refusal
- •Preexisting chronic pain
- •Opioid abuse
- •psychiatric disorders
- •Previous surgery in the thoracic vertebral region
- •Preexisting neurological condition
- •Severe respiratory disease
- •Expected postoperative mechanical ventilation duration pre than 6 hours
- •Renal dusfunction
