Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •American Society of Anaesthesiologist(ASA) physical status I
  • •Mallampatti grade I and II
  • •Scheduled for elective surgery with laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Anticipated difficult airway,
  • •2\. Intubation time exceeding 15 seconds,
  • •3\. More than one attempt of intubation,
  • •4\. History of hepatic, renal, respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrinal and neurological disorders,
  • •Pregnant or lactating women,
  • •Patient on drugs like alpha blocker, beta blocker, calcium channel blocker,etc.
