Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age from 18 to 60y.
  • •\-both sex.
  • •\-ASA physical status II\&III.
  • •\-Patients scheduled for elective cardiac surgery (valve replacement or coronary artery bypass surgery).

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\-Patients refusal.
  • •\-allergy to the study drug.
  • •\-emergent cardiac surgery.
  • •\-redo cardiac surgery.
  • •\-combined coronary artery bypass surgery/ valve replacement surgery.
  • •\-ejection fraction less than 40%.
  • •\-liver disease.
