Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. spinal compression fracture caused by metastatic cancer
  • 2\. no language and expression problem
  • 3\. voluntary participation with sign in informed consent
  • 4\. life expectancy of 3 months or more
  • 5\. severe pain due to spinal deformity or osteolytic bone metastases
  • related with secondary tumor of prostate, uterus, rectum, lung,
  • ovary, spleen, breast, skin or gastroinestinal tract
  • 6\. pathological fracture of single level
  • 7\. pain VAS scores of 5 or more
  • 8\. no injury of spinal cord and nerve root on CT or MRI

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. blood clotting disorders
  • 2\. severe hepatic or renal dysfunction (ALT and AST values over 100
  • IU/L, creatinine over 3\.4%)
  • 3\. cognitive impairment making prompt response and evaluation impossible
  • 4\. pregnant,lactaging, or fertile\-women who do not consent with
  • proper contraception
  • 5\. subjects determined unsuitable to participate the trial
  • 6\. no sign of informed consent
