a)Inclusion criteria
1.All patients who are more than 18 years receiving the commonly prescribed medications (as identified from ABC analysis) including antibiotics from OPD and know to read Tamil.
2.Patients taking the commonly prescribed medications at least for one month.
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria
Patients collecting medications by proxy.
Patients first time visit to pharmacy.

Name Time Method Secondary: <br/ ><br>1.To identify the commonly prescribed medications in OPD of JIPMER hospital by conducting an ABC analysis. <br/ ><br>2.To estimate the baseline level of adherence to commonly prescribed medications in patients attending OPD of JIPMER hospital. <br/ ><br>3.To estimate the level of adherence to antibiotics, after the completion of course, in patients attending OPD of JIPMER hospital. <br/ ><br>4.To prepare printed drug information pamphlets for commonly prescribed drugs including antibiotics in regional language.Timepoint: 1 month
