Inclusion Criteria
Birth weight equal or more than 2 kg
Not taking iron for atleast 2weeks
No history of blood transfusion
Exclusively breastfed or complementary breastfed
Exclusion Criteria
Congenital or Chronic illness

Name Time Method We will determine proportion of infants having ferritin 11ng/dl at 9 months of age with or without iron supplementation at initiation of complementary feeding <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>We will compare Hb levels of infants and determine number of anemic Hb 11g/dl at 9 months of age with or without iron supplementation at initiation of complementary feedingTimepoint: At recruitment-CBC and iron profile, anthropometry,gross and fine milestone <br/ ><br>7 months-anthropometry and gross and fine milestone <br/ ><br>8 months-anthropometry and gross and fine milestone <br/ ><br>9 months-CBC ,iron profile, anthropometry, gross and fine milestone
