Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.patients with grade 2\-4 cataract according to LOCS III
- •2\.patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus of upto 10 yrs.
- •3\.patients with diabetic retinopathy and macular edema present or absent.
- •4\.patient who is willing to provide informed consent .
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.traumatic cataract
- •2\.pseudo exfoliation syndrome
- •3\.glaucoma
- •4\.corneal dystrophy
- •5\.complicated cataract which includes lens induced glaucoma
- •6\.post uveitis cataract
- •7\.subluxated lens
- •8\.previous intra\- ocular surgery
- •9\.intraoprative complications during cataract surgery
- •10\.high myopia and high hyperopia
