Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •male basket ball players,
- •age group of 18â??25 years,
- •clinical diagnosis of sub acromial impingement syndrome by an orthopedic surgeon,
- •pain localised to the proximal anterolateral shoulder region,
- •positive for pain on at least one of the following three impingement tests: Hawkins\-Kennedy, Neerâ??s, Jobeâ??s and (iv) positive for pain on at least one of the following four tests: painful arc, drop arm test, lift\-off test, and resisted external rotation.
Exclusion Criteria
- •large, full\-thickness rotator cuff tear,
- •history of previous injury around shoulder,
- •severe labrum or capsule tear,
- •moderate\-severe glenohumeral or acromioclavicular joint osteoarthritis,
- •glenohumeral joint instability including previous shoulder dislocation/subluxation,
- •neurological deficits of the upper limb
- •patient with radiating pain,
- •severe pain around the shoulder or neck pain,
- •skin infections.
- •history of Fracture around shoulder complex,
