- •Should be suffering with at least 4 or more symptoms mentioned below and with the total symptom score of 20 or more based on 7-point Likert scale
- •(a)Post parandial abdominal distension.â??
- •(b) Upper abdominal painâ??
- •(c) Eructation (Belching)â??
- •(d) Bloatingâ??
- •(e) Early satietyâ??
- •(f) Nauseaâ??
- •(g) Vomitingâ??
- •(h) Regurgitationâ??
- •(i) Heartburnâ??
- •(j) Appetiteâ??
- •(k) Borborygmus
排除标准
- •(i) Age less than 18 years or over 65 years
- •(ii) An advanced chronic illness that would impair follow-up or monitoring
- •(iii) Pregnancy or breast feeding
- •(iv) Previous surgery for ulcers
- •(v) Subjects with previous history of gastroesophageal reflux
- •(vi) Subjects with concomitant symptoms of the irritable bowel syndrome
- •(vii) Drug and alcohol abuse
- •(viii) Mental illness or dementia
