1. Patients motivated to have the therapy and complete follow up.
2. Subjects who readily give informed consent for the study.
3. Patients with a minimum number of 15 teeth.
4. Good physical and systemic health.
5. Patients with clinical attachment loss more than or equal to 1 mm .
6. Chronic generalized periodontitis with at least 2-3 sites exhibiting periodontal pockets with depths more than or equal to 4mm will be selected for the study.
1. Patients who have undergone periodontal therapy in last 6 months.
2. Patients who had received antibiotic therapy during the previous three months.
3. Individuals who are expecting or who have allergies to the drugs in study.
4. Pregnant ladies and lactating mothers .
5. Regular users of mouthwash.
6. Chronic alcoholics.
