ASA I & II patients of either sex.
Mallampatti grades I & II.
Patients planned for elective surgery.
Patients with cardiovascular disease like coronary artery disease, hypertension, etc.
Pulmonary disease like asthma, COPD, cor-pulmonale.
Patients with neuro-muscular, hepatic or major renal disease.
Patients with anticipated difficult intubation, potentially full stomach patients (trauma, morbid obesity, pregnancy) and diabetes mellitus.
History of alcohol or drug abuse.
History suggestive of hiatus hernia/GERD.
