Children from 0 to 17 years of age; both sexes; enrolled at the institution Reino da Garotada de Pos.
Exclusion Criteria
Individuals who are taking or have taken vitamin and/or mineral supplementation for the last two months.

Name Time Method Higher iron absorption is expected in the presence of zinc when minerals are taken in the form of chelate, verified by the increase of hemoglobin levels quantified through the Agabe hemoglobinometer.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Fewer or no adverse effects after ingestion of chelate minerals, analyzed through each participant's report. ;Greater efficacy of iron chelate in increasing iron stores, analyzed by comparing the hematological parameters before and after the intervention.
