Primi parturients with a singleton pregnancy, term (37weeks to 41 weeks+6days) gestation, cephalic presentation in the active first stage of labor willing for epidural analgesia
Age 18- 35 years
Height >145 cm

ï??Any contraindication to vaginal delivery
ï??Non-reassuring N.S.T.
ï??Cephalopelvic disproportion
ï??Coagulopathies
ï??Prior history of depression or anxiety
ï??Contraindications to epidural analgesia
