indication for total hip arthroplasty
BMI< 30 kg/m2
candidates for both approaches
candidates for uncemented prothesis age < 80 year; ASA-classification I en II
general anesthesia
primary arthritis
Exclusion Criteria
previous surgery on the affected hip
inflammatory polyarthritis
candidates for cemented prothesis
spinal anesthesie
fractures; ASA-classification III en IV;
previous six months an cerebral vascular accident or a trans ischemic accident; age <80 year;
