Patients:
• Male and female patients with severe unilateral hip OA, planned for THA;
• >= 40 years and < 65 years of age;
• No interference in daily physical activity due to any disease or any musculoskeletal condition, except hip OA for which THA is planned.;Healthy controls:
• Male and female persons who can perform normal daily physical activities without any restriction or pain;
• >= 40 years and < 65 years of age.
Patients:
• Male and female patients with severe bilateral hip OA;
• < 40 years and >= 65 years of age;
• Any disease or musculoskeletal condition interfering with daily physical activity, except hip OA for which THA is planned.;Healthy controls:
• Male or female persons who cannot perform normal daily physical activities without any restriction or pain;
• < 40 years and >= 65 years of age;
