Brief Summary

There was no statistical difference between the groups for the outcomes analyzed. The control group (regular dose) had an ongoing and cumulative clinical pregnancy rate per transference of 24% and 34% and the intervention group (reduced dose) of 27% and 30% (p = 0.729 and 0.726) respectively.

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Expected outcome 1: To compare the pregnancy rate per transfer and per initiated cycle in infertile couples undergoing in vitro fertilization treatment with a conventional ovarian stimulation protocol and ovarian stimulation with low doses of gonadotropins. It is expected that the study group (low-dose gonadotrophin ovarian stimulation protocol) will be non-inferior compared to the control group (conventional ovarian stimulation protocol).;Outcome found 1: In this study there was no statistical difference between the groups for clinical pregnancy rate per transfer and cumulative: control group (24% and 34%) versus minimal stimulation group (27% and 30%); p = 0.729 and 0.726) respectively.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Expected result 2: To compare the implantation rate, miscarriage, multiples per initiated cycle in infertile couples undergoing in vitro fertilization treatment with conventional ovarian stimulation protocol and ovarian stimulation with low doses of gonadotropins. We expect to observe similar results between the study group (low-dose gonadotrophin ovarian stimulation protocol) and the control group (conventional ovarian stimulation protocol).;Outcome found 2: In this study there was no statistical difference between the groups for implantation rate, multiple pregnancy rate and miscarriage rate
