Brief Summary

There was no statistical difference between the groups for the outcomes analyzed. The control group (regular dose) had an ongoing and cumulative clinical pregnancy rate per transference of 24% and 34% and the intervention group (reduced dose) of 27% and 30% (p = 0.729 and 0.726) respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •women aged up to 38 years; body mass index (BMI) up to 30 kg/m²; FSH dosage less than 10 mUI/ml; antral follicle count in the initial follicular phase higher than 5 follicles

Exclusion Criteria

  • •sperm collection performed by any method other than masturbation, such as epididymal or testicular puncture; couples who did not agree with the Informed Consent Form (TCLE)
