Patients with surgical indication for third molar extraction; Patients who present similarity in degree of impaction bilaterally; Patients who sign the consent form. Patients aged 16 - 40 years were selected for the study.
Patient with a history of cold sensitivity or intolerance, such as Raynaud's phenomenon; Patient with liver disease, blood dyscrasias, previous or present gastric ulcers, heart disease, chronic pain syndrome, metabolic disorders, central nervous system, immune system or patients with hypersensitivity, drug reaction allergies; Female patients if they are pregnant or nursing; Patient on anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, antibiotics, lithium therapy, antihypertensives or who have taken any analgesic or anti-inflammatory drugs within 24 hours prior to the surgical procedure.
