Importance of Nutrition Education among Mothers in promoting Nutritional Status of Children

- Brief Summary
This study is a Randomized control trial, Mother’s of children aged 6 -24 months will be recruited. At baselines, Nutrition knowledge among mothers along with the nutritional status of children will be assessed. Followed by random allocation of mothers into intervention and control group. In intervention group, mother will be imparted Nutrition education in the form of presentation and pamphlet with reiteration at each month for three months along with standard regime. While the Control group will receive only pamphlet and standard regime. End line data will be collected after three months on the same parameters

1.Mothers aged 18 to 45 will be included 2.mothers of 6-24 months old children will be included in the study 3.Children who are permanent resident of the area.
- Mothers who will not give the consent will be excluded 2.
- mothers of children with comorbidities will be excluded in the study.
