Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients diagnosed of schizophrenia according to ICD\-10 DCR, who are on stable anti\-psychotic medication for at least 2 weeks.
  • Provides written informed consent for participation in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Presence of any other psychiatric disorder, organic mental disorder, or mental retardation
  • Known substance dependence other than caffeine or nicotine in the last two years
  • History of any neurological disorder like epilepsy, CNS neoplasms or infections
  • History of any head injury or brain trauma
  • History of neurosurgery
  • Presence of cardiac pacemakers, metallic implants, clips, electrodes, chips, pumps, stimulators, cochlear implants, deep brain stimulators, permanent piercings
  • History of exposure to tattoos containing ferro\-magnetic ink
  • Pregnant and breast\-feeding women
  • Any other neuro\-modulation intervention received in the last two weeks
