Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients diagnosed of schizophrenia according to ICD\-10 DCR, who are on stable anti\-psychotic medication for at least 2 weeks.
- •Provides written informed consent for participation in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Presence of any other psychiatric disorder, organic mental disorder, or mental retardation
- •Known substance dependence other than caffeine or nicotine in the last two years
- •History of any neurological disorder like epilepsy, CNS neoplasms or infections
- •History of any head injury or brain trauma
- •History of neurosurgery
- •Presence of cardiac pacemakers, metallic implants, clips, electrodes, chips, pumps, stimulators, cochlear implants, deep brain stimulators, permanent piercings
- •History of exposure to tattoos containing ferro\-magnetic ink
- •Pregnant and breast\-feeding women
- •Any other neuro\-modulation intervention received in the last two weeks
