This study is to check if IMT can be applied in the Indian setup where patients have less opportunities for rehabilitation other than an inpatient setup in hospital.

Patients with first episode of unilateral stroke.
Lower limb involvement.
<3 months after first time ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke.
Able to stand with or without assistance.
No significant therapeutic gait practice before start of study.
Men or women of Age between 18 to 60years.
Systolic BP between 120 to 220 mmhg.
Oxygen saturation - >92%.
Heart rate â?? 60 to 100 bpm.
Able to sit with or without assistance.
Patients able to understand and follow simple commands
Non ambulatory before stroke.
Surgically managed stroke patients.
Impaired vision.
Cognitive impairment.
Musculoskeletal conditions other than stroke.
Medical contraindications to walking.
Unstable cardiovascular conditions
