Inclusion Criteria
1-Patients scheduled for elective and emergency knee and hip surgeries(ACL,MM repair, patella TBW, PFN nail, removal of implant etc.)
2-ASA physical status I , II, III .
3-BMI <= 25kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
1-Spinal deformity.
2-Previous nerve injury.
3-Pre-existing neurological deficit.
4-History of drug allergy (local anesthetics).
5-Patients having altered coagulation profile
6-Local site infection.
7-Psychiatric illness .
8-Any major systemic illness like hypertension, heart block, bronchial asthama etc.
