Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Individuals with between age of 18-60 years.
- •2. Participants who have not received periodontal therapy, in the previous six
- •3. Participants who readily give informed consent for the study.
- •4. Systemically healthy patients.
- •5. Participants with gingival index less than or equal to 2mm, plaque index less than or equal to 2mm, clinical attachment
- •level equal to 0, probing depth less than equal to 3mm will be included as periodontally healthy.
- •6. Participants with gingival index more than equal to 2, plaque index more than or equal to 2mm, probing depth less than or equal to 4mm,
- •mostly horizontal bone loss, clinical attachment level 1-2 mm affecting more than or equal to 30%
- •teeth involved with radiographic bone loss extending to the coronal-third
- •(less than 15%) and no teeth loss due to periodontitis will be included as stage 1 grade
- •A periodontitis.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. Consumption of tobacco in any form and alcoholics.
- •2. Pregnant and lactating females.
- •3. Participants who have received anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and steroid drugs
- •in previous six months.
