Children more than 3 years of age until onset of secondary sexual characters (as assessed by tanner stages for physical changes in puberty) diagnosed with ASD according to DSM-V.
children have surge of hormones around 9-10 years in girls and 10-12years in boys and average age of onset of secondary sexual characters for girls is 10 years and boys is 11.5 years thus minimum value 10 is taken.
Along with clinical diagnosis of ASD, children should also have significant level of ASD as screened by INCLEN.
Children less than 3 years of age.
Children undergoing pubertal changes.
Children with symptoms of medical disorder that could be potentially associated with oxytocin such as renal disease; hypothalamic-pituitary abnormalities.
