Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Waist circumference \= 88 cm for women or \= 102 cm for men
  • •BMI between 25\-40 kg / m²
  • •Sufficient German language skills, Written consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Acute infectious disease,
  • •Severe chronic illness,
  • •Cancer (exception: breast, prostate and colorectal carcinoma in remission),
  • •Insulin\-treated diabetes mellitus,
  • •Psychiatric diseases, e.g. major depression,
  • •Pregnancy / Breastfeeding,
  • •Other reasons at the discretion of the family doctor
