- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Blood pressure - A reduction in blood pressure levels is expected, assessed by means of automatic blood pressure monitoring equipment (OMRON, model HEM-7113, Brazil), with cuffs appropriate to the circumference of the participants' arms. Blood pressure measurements at rest will be performed on three non-consecutive days and on each of the three days, the participants will remain at rest, sitting in a calm environment for 10 minutes, and then, three measurements will be performed. For analysis purposes, the average of all measurements made on each measurement day will be adopted. In addition, blood pressure will be measured before, immediately and 30 minutes after the first and last session of each training mesocycle using the automatic equipment already used for the measurement of rest. The reduction in blood pressure levels will be verified through the comparison between two moments, adopting a significance level of 5%.<br>
