Name Time Method Main Objective: rate of complete remission after induction therapy;Secondary Objective: 1.) Investigation of the safety of valproic acid, all-trans retinoic acid and their combination during induction and consolidation therapy
2.) Investigation of the influence of valproic acid, all-trans retinoic acid and their combination on the cumulative incidence of relapse and the cumulative incidence of death in CR as well as event free and overall survival
3.) Comparison of the prognostic value of the amount of bone marrow blasts after first induction therapy at day 15 and day 21
4.) Investigation of efficacy and safety of pegfilgrastim after consolidation therapy with high-dose cytarabine
5.) Investigation of the pharmacokinetics of pegfilgrastim after consolidation therapy with high-dose cytarabine
;Primary end point(s): rate of complete remission after induction therapy
