Inclusion Criteria

a.Inclusion Criteria:

> 3 months on Haemodialysis,

18 years of age and mentally and physically being able to participate and complete the study

Exclusion Criteria

those with malignancy in the oral cavityand with periodontal diseases,

those who had microscopic evidence of oral infection in the oral cavity.

hemodynamic instability preventing sufficient ultrafiltration, dementia or terminal diseases , use of chemotherapy or radiotherapy or both or use of xerogenic medications (including anticholinergic,antidepressants, antipsychotics, antihistamines,antiparkinsonian agents and

unwillingness to participate in the study
