Patients undergoing SPLIT SKIN GRAFTING in Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital and those who are able to understand the merits and demerits of both the procedures and provide consent

Exclusion Criteria

Patients who are not willing to give consent and Immunocompromised patients

To study the a) pain b) Time for epithelialization at Split Skin Graft donor site following collagen dressing and compare it with conventional paraffin gauze dressing in Split Skin Graft donor siteTimepoint: Assessment of Pain - Visual Analogue Score <br/ ><br>1 No pain <br/ ><br>2 Just pain <br/ ><br>3 Mild pain <br/ ><br>4 uncomfortable pain <br/ ><br>5 Annoying Pain <br/ ><br>6 moderate pain <br/ ><br>7 Strong pain <br/ ><br>8 severe pain <br/ ><br>9 Horrible pain <br/ ><br>10 Worst Pain <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Pain score will be recorded on day 0, day 1, day3, day 7 and day 14. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Time for epithelialization - observation <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>1 - complete epithelialization <br/ ><br>2 - scattered or spotty epithelialization <br/ ><br>3 - no epithelialization <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>epithelialization will be recorded on day 14
