- •1) Adult patients >15 years
- •2) > 15 % flame/electric/scald/chemical (2nd and 3rd degree) burns
- •3) Time elapsed since burns not > 12 hrs
排除标准
- •1) < 15 years of age
- •2) < 15% TBSA burns
- •3) Index presentation > 12 hours
- •4) Pregnant patients
- •5) Known comorbidities like COPD, CKD, CLD and CHF
- •6) Who received fluids other than RL and isotonic bicarbonate prior to admission
