入排标准
入选标准
- •1. All children in the age group of 3 years to 15 years who were suspected of adenoid hypertrophy by pediatricians and underwent lateral neck X-rays at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
- •2. Children who were evaluated for the first time will only be included.
排除标准
- •1. Children whose parents deny consent for study.
- •2. Children with known congenital anomalies especially of upper respiratory tract.
- •3. Previously diagnosed AH and those undergoing treatment.
- •4. Repeat evaluation of adenoid with X-ray of the lateral neck in a child who is already enrolled.
- •5. Children with syndromic features.
- •6. Poor quality lateral neck X-rays.
- •7. Children with symptoms of AH but lateral neck X ray is not done.
