Brief Summary

An open label single arm prospective clinical study to evaluate the combined effectiveness of Pathyadi churna and Kshara basti in Amavata ( Rheumatoid Arthritis ) Single group convenience sampling method sample size 30. 15 days study with follow up on 6 th and 15 th day. Pathyadi churna with ingredients haritaki shunti and ajamodha in equal proportion given 4 grams three times a day with warm water before food for 15 days. Kshara basti given in yoga basti format.

Inclusion Criteria

subjects with features of Rheumatoid Arthritis as specified in 2010 ACR EULAR classification subjects with less than 10 years chronicity subjects fit for basti karma Subjects who signed consent form.

Exclusion Criteria

Subjects with known case of essential hypertension and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus Subjects with known case of impaired renal hepatic or cardiac function Subjects with known case of systemic arthritis Pregnant and lactating woman.
