Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age \>18 year
- •2\. Patient with permanent AF
- •3\. Resting Ventricular rate \> or \= 70 bpm as measured on 6 second rhythm strip
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. presence of third\-degree AV or significant sinus node disease
- •2\. Unwilling to give informed consent
