Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •i. Age above 18 years to 75
  • •ii. ASA physical status I\-III who will undergo myocardial revascularization surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •i. History of coagulation disorders
  • •ii. Recent myocardial infarction ( \< 30 days)
  • •iii. Unstable angina
  • •iv. Bradycardia (heart rate \[hr] \< 60 beats/min)
  • •v. Glaucoma
  • •vi. Decreased ventricular function (ejection fraction \< 40%)
  • •vii. left main coronary artery disease ( \> 50% of diameter)
  • •viii. Emergency CABG
  • •ix. Pre\-existing contralateral phrenic nerve palsy
