Group A â?? Obese periodontally healthy
1. The BMI >= 30kg /m2
2. No clinical attachment loss
3. Age between 30 to 50 years
4. Bleeding on probing <= 10%
5. Patient willing to participate in the study.
Group B -Obese Gingivitis subjects
1. The BMI >= 30kg /m2
2. Bleeding on probing >= 10%
3. Age between 30 to 50 years
4. Patient willing to participate in the study.
Obese periodontitis subjects
1. The BMI >= 30kg /m2
2. Generalized periodontitis
3. Age between 30 to 50 years
4. Patient willing to participate in the study
1. Periodontal therapy last 3 months.
2. Antibiotics in the last 3 months.
3. Patients on NSAID therapy.
4. Pregnant and lactating females.
5. Subjects using any form of tobacco.
6. History of nasal obstructions and mouth breathers
7. History of known systemic diseases
8. History of use of mouthwashes
9. Subjects using any kind of Dental pro
