Study Overview
Brief Summary
The aims of this prospective cohort are to study the health profiles of older people with chronic MSK pain, and its longitudinal relationships with various physical and psychosocial health problems. The study will also evaluate the potential impact of chronic MSK pain on healthcare utilization, quality of life and mortality.

Inclusion Criteria
- •aged ≥ 60 years old;
- •present with MSK pain, defined as regional pain (joints, limbs, back, neck), with degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis, or musculoskeletal complaints that fall under the chronic primary pain classification of the International Classification of Disease-11 (ICD-11) and (iii) with pain that persists or recurs ≥ 3 months according to the definition by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
Exclusion Criteria
- •No specific exclusion criteria will be adopted, although participants should have the ability to walk to the survey site, report data and understand and sign an informed consent form.
